KKR had won the toss & opted to bowl first against PBKS in the 2nd match of IPL 2023. Shikhar Dhawan played the second fiddle where Bhanuka Rajapaksa was in beast mode PBKS came out all guns blazing as they scored 56 runs in the power-play overs for the loss of 1 wicket. Shikhar Dhawan on the other hand took calculative risks.
KKR skipper Nitish Rana was worried as the premier bowlers Shardul Thakur & Sunil Narine were taken to the cleaners. It looked as if Bhanuka Rajapaksa was toying with the bowlers where he wasn’t afraid of taking down the bowlers where all the variations were proving ineffective

Exciting Match on Cards
KKR skipper Nitish Rana should use Tim Southee smartly as the right-arm pacer has the knack for picking wickets. It won’t be a bad idea if skipper Nitish Rana rolls his arm as he can be the surprise package for the PBKS batters
Skipper Shikhar Dhawan will most likely play the role of anchor & make sure that he bats till the end of 20 overs as their middle order is quite fragile. Chasing won’t be easy for KKR as PBKS have got the services of the flamboyant all-rounder’s Sam Curran & Sikandar Raza who can rattle KKR’s batting lineup.
