Jasprit Bumrah joined the Mumbai Indians training camp a little late on Friday (March 22) but is all set to commence his journey in IPL 2024. During the practice sessions in Ahmedabad, Jasprit Bumrah grabbed a stunning catch to stun and impress Rohit Sharma with his reflexes.

Jasprit Bumrah and Rohit Sharma are crucial members of Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2024. Bumrah makes a comeback to IPL 2024 after missing the last season due to injury. Recently, the right-arm pacer executed a marvelous bowling show against England in the IND vs ENG Test series.

Talking about Rohit Sharma, he will not lead the MI franchise in IPL 2024 as Hardik Pandya is their new skipper. However, Sharma will be a crucial part of the MI squad and will play an important role as an opener.

Jasprit Bumrah stuns Rohit Sharma with his reflexes

Ahead of their opening game against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians are gearing up for the IPL 2024 with training sessions. Their videos from the training are doing rounds on social media. In one such video, Jasprit Bumrah gave a glimpse of his reflexes while fielding.

MI shared a video on their official X (Twitter) profile where MI players underwent fielding sessions. As Jasprit Bumrah caught a few catches, he impressed Rohit Sharma with a one-handed catch. Both Bumrah and Sharma picked several catches in the video. Have a look at the video below.

MI to take on GT in IPL 2024 opening game

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) are set to clash with Gujarat Titans in their opening game of IPL 2024. The MI vs GT encounter takes place on Sunday, March 24 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Rohit Sharma, who struggled to come up with a good show last season, will be all set for a comeback in IPL 2024. Recently, Sharma scored a century against England in the Test series and looked in amazing form.

However, this will be the first time in many years that he will not lead MI in IPL 2024. He was the captain of the side since the 2013 season and led the franchise to five IPL titles. Last season, the men-in-blue reached the playoffs but lost the Qualifier 2 game to Gujarat Titans.

Shubman Gill leads Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024

Meanwhile, Shubman Gill will lead Gujarat Titans after the ouster of Hardik Pandya, who traveled back to MI ahead of the 2024 season. Gujarat Titans finished as runners-up last season after losing the final to Chennai Super Kings.

Jasprit Bumrah will aim for a strong comeback in IPL 2024. He will lead the pace attack for Mumbai Indians. Bumrah has been a consistent performer for MI in IPL. He is also among the most dangerous pacers for Team India. After his comeback last year, Bumrah has showcased commendable performance across all formats.
