Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium is all set to host the RCB vs PBKS IPL 2024 match on Monday, March 25. The match starts at 7.30 pm IST and is the first home game for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. RCB led by Faf du Plessis will now play three back-to-back home games against Punjab Kings, KKR, and LSG.

The weakness of their bowling attack was exposed by Chennai Super Kings in the first game of the season. The other oppositions will also look to exploit the same in the remaining games for Bengaluru.

Royal Challengers Bangalore could not defend 173 that they posted at the Chepauk against Chennai Super Kings. With the Bangalore franchise coming back to the Chinnaswamy for three key games of the season, their preparation needs to be spot-on.

Alzarri Joseph (Rs. 11.50 crore), Yash Dayal (Rs. 5 crores), Tom Curran (Rs. 1.5 crore), Lockie Ferguson (Rs. 2 crores), Swapnil Singh (Rs. 20 lahks), Saurav Chauhan (Rs. 20 lakh) were the players roped in by RCB in the IPL 2024 auction. They roped in three experienced bowlers all of whom have high economy rates in domestic T20 leagues. Joseph who played the match against CSK gave runs at an economy of 10.40.

Punjab Kings, on the other hand, won their IPL 2024 campaign opener against Delhi Capitals where they chased their own 175 to win in Mullanpur. They displayed good potential with the bat and ball. It was in the end a comfortable win for Punjab Kings who will come into this game with confidence. They defeated the Capitals by four wickets in the end.

Talking about head to head both teams have played 31 games with PBKS winning 17 games and RCB 14. Bangalore won the previous game but Punjab has won three out of the last five games.
