IND vs NZ 2021: It Reflects Utmost Clarity And Humility - Salman Butt On Rahul Dravid's Comments Following 3-0 Series Win

Former Pakistan player Salman Butt praised the level-headed newly-appointed Team India head coach, Rahul Dravid, for showing humility following the comfortable 3-0 T20I series win against New Zealand.
Dravid suggested that the win was a good start, but the team needs to keep itself grounded and stay realistic. He also commended the Kiwis for turning up for a T20I series just two days after they lost the T20 World Cup final. These comments show how humble Dravid is, as per Butt.
“It only reflects utmost clarity and humility. And very realistic and professional talk because India did win, but the other team just came from a World Cup final. Hence, it is not easy to mentally prepare for another international series so fast.
“They (New Zealand) also lost the toss. When you play so much international cricket, there is a difference in intensity as well,” Butt said on his YouTube channel.
“He is keeping them in line for the hunt” – Salman Butt
Following India’s early exit from the recently concluded World Cup, the onus is now on Dravid and co. to prepare the team for next year’s T20 World Cup that will be held in Australia.
“Yes, India tested their bench strength. There was a new captain, new coach, and they managed to win. But he is keeping them in line for the hunt. The actual target is the next target which will be in the next 10 months. So this is absolutely the correct and needed approach,” Butt added.
Rohit Sharma’s men were brilliant in all three games and deservedly came out victors in the series. The two teams now move on to play the 2-match Test series starting on November 25.
