Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja failed with the bat on Day 4 of the Green Park, Kanpur Test match against Kane Williamson-led New Zealand National Cricket Team on Sunday, November 28.
India looked in trouble as the top order batting unit failed in the second innings of the match. However, lower-order batsman Ravindra Jadeja who performed brilliantly in the first innings was expected to do well, but he failed miserably and got out on duck.

Notably, Jadeja scored an amazing half-century in the first innings against New Zealand and was castled by Tim Southee.
Meanwhile, in the 20th over of the second innings, Tim Southee delivered an inswinger darting in from a fuller length, and Jadeja tried to whip it across the line, and the ball struck on the pads, and on-field umpire raised his finger and gave him out, but Jadeja opted for a review. Meanwhile, the review showed that there was no inside edge, and there were three reds, and Jadeja was sent back to the dugout.
India Off To A Poor Start On Day 4 vs New Zealand
Day 3 was a very good one for the Indian team as Axar Patel helped India make a phenomenal comeback by picking his 5th Test 5-fer in just 7 innings, and India restricted New Zealand at 296. When India came to bat, opening batsman Shubman Gill was dismissed by Kyle Jamieson, and at stumps, India were at 14/1 with a decent 63 runs lead.
On Day 4, pacer Kyle Jamieson once again showed his class by dismissing Test specialist batsman Cheteshwar Pujara on 22. Stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane once again had a flop show as he was dismissed by spinner Ajaz Patel in the 15th over, and he was able to score only 4 runs.
Also, opener Mayank Agarwal and all-rounder Jadeja were dismissed by Tim Southee in the 20th over and at the time of writing, Ravichandran Ashwin was batting alongside Shreyas Iyer, and India were struggling at 72/5.
