Shubman Gill made his debut against New Zealand in 2019 but had to sit out a few times before making a remarkable comeback into the Indian ODI squad last year.

India opening batsman Shubman Gill, who is in form of his life, played a sensational knock in the ongoing India vs New Zealand 3rd ODI at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore on Sunday.

Shubman Gill made his ODI debut for India against New Zealand in 2019, although he had to miss a few games due to injury before making a spectacular recovery into the team last year.

Gill visited the West Indies last year and came back with 64, 43, and an unbeaten 98. Prior to scoring his first ODI century, he scored an outstanding 82 against Zimbabwe.

In 2023, Gill made a strong impression. He scored a quick 70 to start the series against the visiting Sri Lankans then a stunning 116 to win it. He proved his brilliance and ability to captain the innings in the 50-over format three days later against New Zealand with a score of 208.
