IND vs NZ: "I Am The World No.1; After Me Stands Virat Kohli" - Khurram Manzoor's Astonishing Claim

Virat Kohli has become the pinnacle of batting for the current period. Any contribution over what Kohli does in any format is acknowledged and given attention by the cricket community. The selectors of his country, according to a seasoned Pakistani cricketer, have consistently disregarded his stagging List A record, which is “better than” that of the former India captain.
Right-handed batter Khurram Manzoor, a native of Karachi, has played for Pakistan in 26 international contests, including 16 tests, seven ODIs, and three T20Is, since making his debut in 2008.

My Conversion Rate In List A Cricket Is Better Than Virat Kohli: Khurram Manzoor
One of the three matches in the shortest format had Kohli and Khurram on the same field, the only time in the latter’s career that this has happened. With only 10 runs, the Pakistani hitter was run out during an Asia Cup game by Kohli’s superb direct hit. The 36-year-old made his final appearance abroad that day. Since then, he has attempted to rejoin the national team by excelling in domestic cricket but has been rejected.
Khurram was questioned about a claim he had made about his List A figures being superior to Virat Kohli’s in an interview with Nadir Ali on his YouTube channel. He emphasised that, despite the selectors’ repeated denials, his goal was not to compare himself to the famous Indian batter but rather to promote his accomplishments in domestic cricket.

“I am not comparing myself with Virat Kohli. Fact is, in 50-overs cricket, whoever are there in the top-10, I am the world no.1. After me stands Kohli. My conversion rate in List A cricket is better than him. He scores a century every six innings. I score century every 5.68 innings.
And based on my average of 53, over the last 10 years, I am ranked fifth in the world in List A cricket. I also have scored 24 centuries in the last 48 innings. Between 2015 and now, whoever has opened for Pakistan, I still remain the leading scorer among them. I am also the top scorer and century getter in national T20. Yet I get ignored. And nobody has ever given me a solid reason for that,” he said.
With 27 tonnes and 7992 runs scored thus far in 166 List A games, Khurram has an implied century rate of 6.11 innings. He now has the sixth-best average in the world among batters who have played a minimum of 100 innings, standing at 53.42. In contrast, Kohli has 50 tonnes and 14215 runs, which means he averages a century per 5.88 innings.
