Great Chance for India
India managed to post a mammoth target of 349-8 where Shubman Gill scored 208 runs in 149 balls where he struck 19 fours and 9 sixes. The management would be delighted with Shubman’s performance as the way he paced his innings was phenomenal. The batter now has given happy headaches to Selection panel with this knock.
New Zealand would require a helluva of effort to win the match. Despite the pitch favoring the batters, smashing boundaries won’t be easy against the likes of Washington Sundar & especially against Kuldeep Yadav who is in the form of his life. It would be interesting to see how New Zealand approach this target as whether they go berserk or take the game deep.
