Saeed Ajmal was one of the best spin all-rounders for Pakistan and among the top ones in international cricket. His spin attack helped Pakistan to win many games and gain a lot of limelight in a short time. He was banned by ICC for illegal bowling action and this resulted in the end of his career.
Saeed Ajmal was a right-arm spinner who played for Pakistan from 2008 to 2015. He was an off-spinner and ruled the Pakistan team during his active career in the spin department. However, he only had a short career with the Pakistan team.

Saeed Ajmal was born on October 14 1977 in Faisalabad city in Punjab, Pakistan. He has kept his private life a bit personal and there is less information about his wife and parents. However, he has a brother named Younis Ahmed who is also a cricketer. He has two sons named Bilal and Hilal and a daughter named Rameen.
Early and Domestic Career
Saeed Ajmal started his domestic career with the Faisalabad team in 1996 and played for the side till 2017. He also played for Khan Research Laboratories, Islamabad Team, and Faisalabad Wolves.
International Career
Saeed Ajmal made his international debut in 2008 with the game against India. He went on to play for Pakistan till April 2015 with a match against Bangladesh. During his career, he played 35 Tests, 103 ODI, and 64 T20Is.
He got 178 wickets in Tests at 28 + average, 184 wickets in ODIs at 22 + average, and 85 wickets in T20 at 17+ average. At the peak of his international career, he was the top-ranked ICC bowler.
Franchise Career
Saeed Ajmal's career was more about the domestic and national teams. However, he was quite active after his international ban. He played a few seasons for domestic teams in Bangladesh Premier League, Big Bash League, and Pakistan Super League.
He was part of Dhaka Gladiators in BPL 2012, Adelaide Strikers in BBL 2012, Barisal Burners in BPL 2013, Islamabad United in PSL 2016 and 17, and Chittagong Vikings in BPL 2017.
