Lucknow Super Giants take on Rajasthan Royals in match 63 in a bid to seal the playoffs spot at the Brabourne stadium in Mumbai. They are on 16 points and another win would guarantee them a spot in the playoffs. Thus this is a must-win game for them given the points table is so tight and every team barring MI and CSK are alive in the contest.
Lucknow have played two very different games in their last two matches. They peppered the KKR batters with short-pitched deliveries and registered a 75-run win while defending 175. In the very next game against Gujarat Titans, they were bowled out for 82 chasing a paltry 145.
Gautam Gambhir and the team management have some rethinking to do as to what XI can help them win the game against the Royals. In this article, we predict LSG’s predicted playing XI against RR.

Quinton de Kock
De Kock has been the perfect foil to KL Rahul in this IPL season. With three fifties to his name, he has scored 355 runs and would like to add to that tally in the last two games.
Deepak Hooda
Hooda has been a revelation for Lucknow Super Giants at number three. He has often batted the tough overs and scored crucial runs for his team. He will slot in at number three.
Manish Pandey
Instead of Karan Sharma who scored just four in the last match, LSG can include the experienced Manish Pandey for the last two games. He has the experience to anchor the innings in the middle overs and Gambhir is well known about it having played together at KKR.
Krunal Pandya
Pandya’s bowling has worked wonders for Lucknow Super Giants in the middle-overs. He has played a few important cameos as well. He will slot in at number five.
Marcus Stoinis
Stoinis should ideally bat at number five or six in the batting order. Often he has been sent into bat way too late with too much asked to deliver. Having retained the Australian all-rounder, LSG has not used him well to deliver.
Ayush Badoni
Keeping in mind the team combination, Ayush Badoni should bat at number seven. He played a few important knocks at the start of the season but has tapered off since then. Against Gujarat, he scored 8 off 11 balls.
Jason Holder
Holder has delivered very well for Lucknow. He was used more with the ball than the bat. So far in the season, he has scored So far in the season he has picked up 13 wickets and scored just 57 runs.
Mohsin Khan
Khan has been a revelation so far in the tournament. He has performed well in back to back games. Against KKR he gave away 6 runs and then just 18 against Gujarat picking up two wickets.
Dushmantha Chameera
Chameera has been impressive for the Super Giants throughout the season as well. He has bowled with pace and unsettled the batsmen. He has picked up nine wickets so far in 10 games this season.
Avesh Khan
Avesh rounds of Lucknow Super Giants’s predicted playing XI. They might opt to in with a four-man seam attack given that the Brabourne pitch is good for batting and they have a good pace attack. He has picked up 16 wickets in 10 games this year so far.
