Indian left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav’s ability to consistently bowl a certain length was recently highlighted by veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin.

As per Ashwin, who commented on Yadav’s potential to excel in the longer game formats on his YouTube channel, Yadav can hit the right lengths with ease. It is a fantastic quality for a wrist spinner, he said, adding that.

“I have always felt this about Kuldeep Yadav when we talk about wrist spinners. He has got this amazing feature to bowl the repetitive lengths that are required to do well in the long format.”

“He can land in a particular spot whenever he wants, and that’s a fantastic quality for a wrist spinner. That’s a massive value for a wrist spinner.”

Yadav is currently a member of India’s team for the three-match ODI series against South Africa that is taking place at home. The 27-year-old has done well in the rubber so far, taking two wickets in as many innings at an economy rate of 5.17.

Ravichandran Ashwin Praises Shardul Thakur’s all-round abilities:

Shardul Thakur received praise from Ravichandran Ashwin for his outstanding all-around performance against South Africa. Given his versatility with both the bat and the ball, he emphasized how the player is an important addition to the team.

The seasoned contender mentioned how impressive Thakur was in the opening ODI against South Africa. The right-arm pacer recorded two victories in the games and added 33 significant runs with the bat during the run chase.

“He can make things happen with both bat and ball. He picked wickets and scored runs too during the backend of the game when we were really struggling. He stitched a vital partnership with Sanju Samson,” Ravichandran Ashwin said.

The third and final ODI of the series against the Proteas will be played on Tuesday, October 11, and will feature Shikhar Dhawan’s Indian team.
