Sri Lanka National Cricket Team pacer Binura Fernando grabbed an exceptional catch to dismiss Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson in the second T20 International match of the three-match T20 International series at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala on Saturday, February 26.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson came to bat at no.4 and he started off very slow. However, after playing cautiously he played aggressive strokes in the last few balls of his innings.

In the 13th over Sri Lanka bowler Lahiru Kumara gave away 23 runs in his first 5 balls before dismissing Samson in the last ball of the over, courtesy of a sensational catch by Binura Fernando.
Lahiru Kumara bowled a short length ball wide of the off-stump and Indian wicketkeeper-batsman went hard on the drive and he only managed to get a thick outside edge. The ball went towards Binura at the short third man and he timed a perfect jump to grab the stunner. Sanju Samson was able to score 39 runs off 25 balls including 2 fours and 3 sixes.
Shreyas Iyer Plays An Amazing Knock During The Chase
Chasing the target India were off to a poor start as captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Dushmantha Chameera in the first over itself. However, middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer added good 35 runs with opener Ishan Kishan before the latter was dismissed by Lahiru Kumara in the first ball of the 6th over.
Shreyas Iyer, who performed sensationally in the first T20I, batted exceptionally once again and smashed a quick half-century.
Earlier, Sri Lanka National Cricket Team captain Dasun Shanaka played a remarkable knock of 47 runs off 19 balls, including 2 fours and 5 sixes to help Sri Lanka score 183 runs at the loss of 5 wickets.
At the time of writing, Ravindra Jadeja is batting exceptionally well along with Shreyas Iyer and India are moving toward the series victory.
