Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who met with an accident, has undergone plastic surgery on his forehead to repair the damage and is responding well to the treatment. The 25-year-old sustained multiple injuries after his car hit a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway in Roorkee.
Pant was taken to Saksham Hospital Multispeciality and Trauma Center, and after getting initial treatment at the local hospital, he was shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun on Saturday, December 31, and he is currently stable and out of danger. The southpaw was airlifted by the BCCI on Wednesday to the Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai.

Shreyas Iyer revealed his first reaction to Pant’s near-fatal car crash on the Delhi-Dehradun expressway, saying he was devastated after hearing the news. Shreyas wished Pant a speedy recovery and wanted to see him back on the field.
“I got a message from friends and was devastated. Especially when I saw the pictures. I am just glad that he is safe now. I just hope he recovers fast so that I can play with him soon,” Shreyas Iyer told The Times of India.
Rishabh Will Undergo Surgery And Subsequent Procedures
The 25-year-old was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai for immediate treatment on one of the two ligament tears in Rishabh Pant’s knee. He was examined by doctors on Wednesday evening and is doing well.
