Several fans took to social media to send their good wishes to Rishabh Pant, wishing him a speedy recovery:

Pant was a member of the Indian side that defeated Bangladesh in a Test series by a score of 2-0 earlier this month. His knocks of 46 and 93 had made an impression.

He was scheduled to join the National Cricket Academy for a strength and conditioning program in preparation for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy match against Australia in February but was recently cut from the T20I team named for the series against Sri Lanka.

After MS Dhoni’s retirement, Pant has been India’s go-to wicketkeeper across all formats. Over the past two years, he has also been one of India’s best batsmen in Test cricket.
