Team India captain Rohit Sharma has resumed cricket training in preparation for the white-ball matchup against Sri Lanka, which begins on January 3, next year.
During the second ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka, the batsman suffered a finger injury during fielding. He was finally forced out of the third ODI and the two subsequent Tests against the Bangladesh Tigers. While India lost the one-day international series 2-1, they swept their opponents in the two-match Test series 2-0.
