India National Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid is unwell and he might miss the dead rubber ODI of the three-match series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team due to health issues, as per a report in RevSportz.

The Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team hammered the Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka National Cricket Team by 4 wickets in the second ODI at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Thursday, January 12, to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Winning the toss and batting first, Sri Lanka Lanka got bundled out for 215 inside 40 overs as Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj bagged three wickets each while Umran Malik bagged two wickets and Axar Patel picked up one wicket.

Chasing the target, India lost the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer inside 15 overs. However, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya stitched together 75 runs in 119 balls that shifted the momentum back towards India. In the end, KL Rahul remained unbeaten and steered India to a victory. He scored 64* runs off 103 balls, including 6 fours.

The third and final ODI will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, January 15.

Rahul Dravid To Return To Bengaluru Due To Medical Reasons

India National Cricket Team head coach Rahul Dravid is reportedly not travelling with the Indian team to Thiruvananthapuram. The 50-year-old suffered a health issue during the 2nd ODI between India and Sri Lanka.

Although Rahul Dravid was with the India National Cricket Team in Kolkata for the second ODI, he is all set to return to Bengaluru due to medical reasons.

Reportedly, the Indian head coach felt uneasiness in the hotel itself and had taken medicines after his Blood Pressure had shot up. Currently, there is no clarification on whether he will be with the Indian team for the third ODI.
