Jay Shah Closely Monitoring Rishabh Pant's Progress; Will Provide Him With All The Necessary Support

After his car accident on Friday morning, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah assured Rishabh Pant of all the assistance he would need and stated that they are now actively watching his recovery.

On the morning of December 30, Pant was engaged in a terrible vehicle collision when his Mercedes hit a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. After the collision, the vehicle started to burn fully out.

Rishabh Pant Sustains Injuries On Head And Leg

Overcoming his wounds, Pant cracked the car’s window and managed to flee just in time to avert what would have been a deadly collision. At the moment of the collision, Pant was travelling alone to Roorkee.

Pant’s automobile hit the fence, slammed into it, and burst into flames. The fire was just put out after much struggle. At the same time, Rishabh Pant was rushed to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road after suffering serious injuries in the collision.

Doctors said that Pant had a broken leg and a forehead injury. Although he sustained burn injuries, the authorities claimed his situation was not critical. He fell asleep behind the wheel, according to the police.

Jay Shah Wishes a Speedy Recovery To Rishabh Pant

In response, BCCI secretary Shah tweeted that Pant is in his prayers and thoughts as he heals from the incident. He said that the wicketkeeper’s family informed him that he was stable and having scans.

The BCCI secretary assured him that they will continuously monitor his development and provide him all the assistance he needs.
