Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma is under the pump for not scoring big runs in the Asia Cup 2022. The batter would be a bit under pressure as he had adopted a new fearless approach. In the match against Hong Kong, he was ultra-aggressive but failed to make it count. The batter scored a quickfire 21 runs and was looking set to take the game away from Hong Kong.
Saba Karim, the former Indian wicket-keeper batter doesn’t feel that Rohit Sharma is out of form. We have seen how Successful the Indian cricket team has been under this approach after the victories in UK & Caribbean.
The management knows that the more Rohit Sharma is struggling; the more dangerous he becomes. Indian Cricket Team would once again be under the pressure as India vs Pakistan match is scheduled on Sunday (04th September).

Speaking to India News Sports, Saba Karim said: “Rohit is a big player and he will certainly know what needs to be done to score big. But I think he has taken on that role of playing with an aggressive mindset, which is important for at least one of the top three to have.
“So I am sure he will succeed sooner rather than later with this approach.”

Rohit Sharma has Some Concerns ahead of Pakistan Clash
Rohit Sharma would be bothered as Ravindra Jadeja is out of the remaining tournament. In his place, Axar Patel has been included in the squad; given Axar’s performance in the Caribbean, he can be a lethal force. Ravindra Jadeja is someone whose presence is enough for the opposition team to create havoc. He was promoted to the No.4 batting position and scored 30 odd runs which were quite fruitful.
The Skipper at the same time would be aware of the form of Avesh Khan & Arshdeep Singh. India doesn’t have any frontline pace bowlers than these two. Even if India won the 2 matches, the management has a lot to ponder about.
It would be interesting to see whether management plays him as a 5th bowling option as he has shown a lot of control. Rohit knows that no excuse matters in India vs Pakistan match and the Pakistan Coaching staff would be aware of India’s loopholes.
