Veteran India National Cricket Team Test specialist batter Cheteshwar Pujara has picked his preferred India National Cricket Team playing XI for the blockbuster Asia Cup 2022 game against the Pakistan National Cricket Team.

The Asia Cup 2022, which is the 15th edition of the tournament, commenced on August 27 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with the battle between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Afghanistan managed to thrash Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup opener to register a dominant 8-wicket victory.

In the second match of the Asia Cup, Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team will take on Babar Azam-led Pakistan National Cricket Team at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, on Sunday, August 28.

India and Pakistan went head-to-head at the same venue during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup last year and the Virat Kohli-led Team India lost the match by 10 wickets against the Babar Azam-led Pakistan. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 win of Team Pakistan was their first victory against Team India in a World Cup match.
