Hardik Pandya produced one of the finest performances with both bat & bowl in the high-octane clash of India vs Pakistan. India won the match by 5 wickets and with 2 balls left and registered a resounding victory. The flamboyant all-rounder has been around the Indian Cricket Team for the last 6 years and now he knows what his team requires from him.
The all-rounder took 3 wickets & scored an unbeaten 33 runs in 17 balls which helped India to win against the Men in Maroon. He was looking determined in his approach and he got ample support from the left-hand batting all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. The duo had selected bowlers to target which was the need of the hour as going berserk against every bowler was very much risky.

Mickey Arthur on Hardik Pandya
“Hardik Pandya in the side means it’s almost like India are playing with 12 players. It reminds me of my time back in South Africa when we had Jacques Kallis. You have a guy who can be one of your four seamers and bat in your top-five,” Arthur was quoted as saying on ESPNcricinfo.
“I have seen Hardik mature and mature and his leadership in the last IPL was outstanding. He managed his team very well and played so well under pressure,” Arthur concluded.

Hardik knew that he had to wrap up the game for his side. The all-rounder uses his crease and standing deep so that he can play the ball where he wants. The batter looks a lot more mature as said by Mickey Arthur because the old Hardik Pandya would have done the wrong shot selection in a crucial moment of the match. Rahul Dravid had also praised Hardik Pandya by saying he is one of the best finishers in World Cricket at the present.

The batter unleashed some great shots in the 19th over against the speedster Haris Rauf. Batting on the pitch was by no means easy as the pitch helped the seamers a lot; in that, the pacers were touching 140 km/hr. Hardik kept his head cool and won the match for India with 2 balls remaining.
