Meanwhile, the 24-year-old said that there are a lot of expectations from the players in the India-Pakistan games.
“The environment always stays interesting, it’s always a hyped-up match. But as players, we only try to give our 100 per cent because there is a lot of pressure. The expectations are also very high in India vs Pakistan matches,” Pant was quoted as saying in a video uploaded on the official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
We have to make sure that we keep the outside noise outside – Hardik Pandya

Speaking in the same video, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya said that there is a lot of hype and emotions attached to the India-Pakistan matches. He added that Team India will have to make sure that they ignore the outside notices.
“There is a lot of hype outside, which we all understand. A lot of people have emotions attached to the game and attached to this match as well. But for us, we have to make sure that we keep the outside noise outside and make sure that we can focus on the things that we should be focussing on,” Pandya said.
