Pakistan National Cricket Team vice-captain Shadab Khan has dedicated the comprehensive 155-run win over Hong Kong National Cricket Team in the 6th match of the Asia Cup 2022 to the victims of the Pakistan floods.
Pakistan has been hit by its worst floods in history and more than one-third of the country is underwater. More than 1,200 people have died from the floods since mid-June, over 4,80,000 people have been displaced, and over 3.3 crore people have been affected by the floods.
After the victory over Hong Kong National Cricket Team at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, on Friday, September 2, the 23-year-old Shadab Khan took to Twitter to assert that the victory of the Men In Green over Hong Kong is “dedicated to all those affected by floods in Pakistan”.
“This victory is dedicated to all those affected by #FloodsInPakistan. We are playing for our people. You are all in our hearts. To everyone who can help, please donate to flood relief funds across the country. Apne logon ki madad kerein. #PakistanZindabad,” Pakistan National Cricket Team vice-captain Shadab Khan tweeted after the victory over Hong Kong National Cricket Team.

Shadab Khan Bags 4 Wickets In Pakistan’s Dominant Win vs Hong Kong
Pakistan National Cricket Team defeated Hong Kong National Cricket Team by 155 runs in their first-ever T20I meeting to advance to the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup. This was Pakistan’s first T20I victory in 2022. Also, the 155-run win over Hong Kong is Pakistan’s biggest margin of victory in T20I history.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 193/2 with the help of Mohammad Rizwan’s fine 78 runs knock, Fakhar Zaman’s good 53 runs knock and Khushdil Shah’s quickfire 35 runs knock.
Chasing the target, Hong Kong struggled against the Pakistan bowling unit and they were bundled out for 38.
Meanwhile, Pakistan National Cricket Team have become the first team to win a men’s T20I game by 150+ runs without posting the target of 200+ runs. Also, Hong Kong’s 38/10 against Pakistan is the lowest T20I score for a match featuring a Full Member Nation.
Talking about Shadab Khan, he bagged 4 wickets in 2.4 overs and gave away just 8 runs against Hong Kong. Also, Shadab is the bowler with the most T20I wickets for Pakistan (16 wickets) in the last 12 months in T20Is.
