India pacer Jasprit Bumrah showed his worth in death overs when he dismissed Australian captain Aaron Finch in the ongoing second T20I between the two sides which is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur on September 23, 2022.

Australia had won the first T20I which was played at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Punjab by 4 wickets, when they chased down a record 208 runs thanks to 61 from Cameron Green and 43* from Matthew Wade.

With 1-0 up in the three-match T20I series, Australia would have wanted to seal the series in Nagpur itself. However, the rain gods intervened as the Jamtha ground was wet and the game got repeatedly delayed due to the wet outfield.

Finally, after three inspections, the umpires confirmed an 8-overs-per-side game. Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to field first. India made two changes with Rishabh Pant coming for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah coming in for Umesh Yadav. Australia also made some changes with Sean Abbott and Daniel Sams coming into the side.

However, Aaron Finch had started off on a good note, hitting Hardik Pandya for 9 runs in the first over. And he hit Yuzvendra Chahal for a massive six as well. But in the end, it came to Jasprit Bumrah to get rid of the Aussie captain.

Bumrah made his return to the Indian team after spending some time out with a back injury. He missed the Asia Cup 2022 and the West Indies tour prior to that. He did start with a wide and was hit for a four by Finch.

But he came back with a brilliant yorker on the last ball of his over which tailed onto the leg stump and the delivery hit the leg stump. It was so good that even Aaron Finch applauded Bumrah despite his dismissal.
