The upcoming India vs Australia Test Series is considered to be a riveting contest. The visitors have an uphill challenge despite having a brilliant home season as winning in India won’t be easy. Only England had won Test Series in India that too way back in 2012 by 2-1.
India would be banking on Cheteshwar Pujara to continue his purple patch against Australia. The right-handed batter last time in 2017 had scored 405 runs in 4 matches where he struck 1 ton & 2 half centuries. The batter showed immense mental application in testing conditions.

Suresh Raina on Australia
Suresh Raina was having an interaction with PTI and was asked about Australia refusing to play tour game. “I have played practice matches (ahead of Tests) and they are really important. They (Australia) can understand the quality of pitches in India only if they play on them.” said Suresh Raina.

“I am happy with Ravindra Jadeja’s comeback after a long time. Our spinners R Ashwin, Axar Patel are doing well. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been in good form and I think we will get to watch an interesting series in the coming days.” he added.
Stern Test for Australia
As mentioned by Suresh Raina, playing a practice game helps the batters to get used to the conditions. The visitors have opted for an intense training session and have made dusty wickets to negate the spin threat. Aussies in 2013 & 2017 were quite clueless against Ashwin & Jadeja.
Aussies would be hoping that David Warner hits form as he doesn’t have encouraging numbers in India. The batter needs to play his natural game rather than getting into the shell. It won’t be wrong to say that David Warner’s form would determine whether Australia end 19 year drought or not.
