Indian Cricket Team is all set to take on the mighty Aussies on 9th February (Thursday) at Nagpur. There are high chances that the pitch of Nagpur would be a rank-turner which would make the contest spicier. This would be the first major Test Series for skipper Rohit Sharma.
There is uncertainty regarding Cameron Green’s participation. The all-rounder in his career so far has shown immense mental application against the spinners. The visitors would be banking on Usman Khawaja to bat deep as it won’t be wrong to say that his form would decide the outcome of the series.

Rohit Sharma on Rishabh Pant
Rohit Sharma was seen attending the Pre-match press conference and was asked about Rishabh Pant.
“We will miss Rishabh Pant but we have guys to fill into the role. We have had a good talk with the batters about their plans and hopefully, we will execute it from tomorrow onwards,” said Rohit Sharma.

Conundrum for Management
Rishabh Pant has been an integral part of the team for the last couple of years. The peculiarity of Rishabh Pant is that he can change the complexion of the match in a couple of overs. There have been talks going on that Ishan Kishan may replace southpaw who has similar traits to him and has the firepower which can dismantle the opposition.
Vice-captain KL Rahul is having a tough time as we all witnessed his struggles against Bangladesh Test Series. The management has a tough call to take as to whether to make Shubman Gill open the batting or stick to KL Rahul.
KL Rahul had also said in the press conference that he would be ready to bat in the middle order if the team requires it. It won’t be wrong to say that we are in for surprises as both teams have a lot of problems.
