BBL 2021-22: "Nice Throw, Mate" - Moises Henriques Accuses Mohammad Hasnain Of 'Chucking'

Australian and Sydney Sixers all-rounder, Moises Henriques, directly accused Pakistan and Sydney Thunder bowler, Mohammad Hasnain, of chucking during a Big Bash League (BBL) game.
The two were constantly involved in a heated staredown where Henriques repeatedly said ‘Nice throw, mate’ to the young Pakistani. The incident took place at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) during a match that was won by Sixers.

It seemed as though Henriques was quite late in reading the deliveries from Hasnain’s hand. The pace was also too much in the moment for Henriques, who responded with chucking remarks at Hasnain.

The staredown kept continuing throughout the 12th over. Henriques finally managed to get a single and get off-strike and as he was heading towards the crease at the non-striker’s end, things got heated once again.

Henriques went on to smash a 27-ball 47 which included 4 fours and a maximum while Hasnain also bowled brilliantly and finished with figures of 0/22 in his four overs.
Sixers put up 197 on the board with Daniel Hughes top scoring before they managed to restrict their opponents to 137/9. Steve O’Keeffe won the Player of the Match award for taking four wickets in the run chase.
