Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf who is known for his unique celebrations after picking wickets has come up with yet another unique celebration, this time in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) playing for Melbourne Stars.
In the ‘Incredible COVID Safe’ wicket celebration he gestured to sanitize his hands and put on a mask after dismissing batsman Kurtis Patterson in the ongoing BBL.
This celebration took place during the Big Bash League 2021-22 game between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars in the third over. Rauf delivered a ball outside off stump and batsman Kurtis Patterson tried to play a cover drive but was unable to make a good connection and was only able to nick the ball and it went straight towards wicketkeeper Joe Clarke who easily grabbed the catch and after that Rauf’s unique celebration was witnessed by the viewers.
The Pakistan pacer acted to take out sanitiser from his pocket and sanitize his hands and then he whipped out a mask from his pocket and wore it.
“That’s a celebration I have never seen before,” said the on-air commentator.
