Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja Retain Their Top-10 Positions In ICC Test Rankings

Star India National Cricket Team players including captain Rohit Sharma, former captain Virat Kohli, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, pacer Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have retained their top-10 positions in the latest ICC Test Rankings.

The latest Test Rankings were released by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday, May 25. India captain Rohit retained his No.8 spot in the Test Batting Rankings with 754 rating points and Kohli is still at the 10th spot with 742 rating points in his bag.

Veteran off-spinner Ashwin is at the No.2 position in the Test Bowling Rankings with 850 rating points and premier pacer Bumrah is at the No.3 spot with 830 rating points.

In the ICC Test All-Rounder Rankings spin-bowling all-rounder, Jadeja continues to remain at the top spot with 385 rating points in his bag and Ashwin is at the No.2 spot with 341 rating points.

Notably, Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne is at the No.1 spot in the ICC Men’s Test Batting Rankings and Australian skipper Pat Cummins is at the No.1 spot in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings.

Sri Lanka And Bangladesh Players Make Gains In The Latest ICC Test Rankings

Currently, only Bangladesh National Cricket Team and Sri Lanka National Cricket Team are involved in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) series and the players from those two teams have made notable gains in the ICC rankings.

Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman Litton Das has moved up three places to 17th after scoring 88 in the first Test match and veteran Sri Lanka batter Mathews, who played a sensational knock of 199, has moved to the 21st spot.

Also, Mushfiqur Rahim and Tamim Iqbal have made big gains in the latest ICC Rankings. Notably, Mushfiqur has jumped to the 25th spot and Tamim has gained six places to reach the 27th position.

Star Bangladesh National Cricket Team all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has climbed to 29th spot in the ICC Men’s Bowling Rankings after picking four wickets in the match and Nayeem Hasan has moved to 53rd position. Sri Lanka pace Kasun Rajitha has also moved from 75th to 61st spot and Asitha Fernando has entered the top 100.
