Arjun Tendulkar Names Jasprit Bumrah As His Favourite Mumbai Indians Player

Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary Sachin Tendulkar and a former Mumbai Indians player himself, has named star pacer Jasprit Bumrah as his favourite player from the Mumbai Indians franchise.

Mumbai Indians are the most successful team in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as they have won the title 5 times (2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020).

Indian white-ball captain Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Mumbai Indians team and the franchise always had some of the most remarkable players in the squad, like Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Trent Boult, Suryakumar Yadav, Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan.

All-rounder Arjun Tendulkar, in a Q&A session with fans on Instagram, was asked to name his favourite Mumbai Indians player and he picked Indian ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

Bumrah has been the key member behind Mumbai Indians’ success in the Indian Premier League and the speedster has played 106 matches and has bagged 130 IPL wickets at an average of 23.05, an economy rate of 7.42 and a strike rate of 18.63.

Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 the franchise have decided to retain 4 players, including skipper Rohit Sharma (16 cr), Jasprit Bumrah (12 cr), Suryakumar Yadav (8 cr) and West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard (6 cr).

They will enter the Indian Premier League 2022 mega auction with a purse of 48 crores. Also, the mega auction will take place on February 12 & 13 and the marquee IPL 2022 is expected to begin on March 27, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is hopeful of conducting the entire tournament in India across 4 venues in Maharashtra, behind closed doors.
