Watch: Kagiso Rabada removes Warner off the first ball of the innings

In response, Australia is 1-9, with David Warner out on the opening ball of the hosts’ innings to Kagiso Rabada. It was Warner’s first golden duck in Test cricket since January 2013, and he now has a season average of 20.40.

Kagiso Rabada dug in a short ball and Warner fended it to short leg, where Khaya Zondo took a one-handed catch at full stretch.

Out of their last 5 Test matches this calendar year, the Pat Cummins-led Australian squad has won 4 times overall, including a stunning home series victory against the West Indies. On the other hand, South Africa would want to play extremely well in both the batting and bowling departments to threaten this formidable Australian Test team on their home ground.
