Charlie Dean led in the T20 World Cup 2026
She will look to guide the Three Lions to their first ODI series victory under her captaincy. Dean has established a solid reputation as a dependable stand-in and white-ball captain for England Women.
Notably, she guided England to victories in T20I series against India and New Zealand. She also served as the team's stand-in captain for a portion of the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup as regular captain Nat Sciver-Brunt was sidelined due to a calf injury. Charlie Dean had an excellent summer as a captain and thus was rewarded with the same.
