Sanju Samson smashes the second-fastest T20 hundred in Kerala T20 League
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson lit up Thiruvananthapuram with a jaw-dropping century in the Kerala domestic T20 League. Chasing a mountain-like target of 237, Samson went berserk at the top of the order and single-handedly shifted the momentum of the game.
The Indian wicketkeeper-batter reached his fifty in just 16 balls and then raced to his hundred in only 42 deliveries. Batting alongside his brother and Kochi captain Saly Samson, Sanju’s fireworks were just breathtaking. He was eventually dismissed after smashing 121 off just 51 balls.
His knock was studded with 14 fours and seven towering sixes. On the back of Samson’s blitz, Kochi registered a four-wicket win over Kollam in the Kerala T20 League. It was Samson’s second-fastest century in T20 cricket. He had slammed a 40-ball 100 against Bangladesh in Hyderabad last year.
