England players have been spotted relishing a mid-tour break in Noosa, as Ben Stokes and his teammates have been spotted drinking beers, sunbathing, and soaking in the sea, playing beach football for relaxation. Brendon McCullum has also been snapped alongside his team, who, according to him, are letting the dust settle after an intense week of cricket action.

Despite not having a very convincing run in the Ashes, where they have already lost two games in the series, the English Test side, alongside their coach Brendon McCullum, have been snapped having a gala time at the beach in Noosa, as per reports in English media.

Amid this, several criticisms have been made; however, the Bazball are seemingly the most carefree side currently in the world, and once again they have proved that they just wish to enjoy the game rather than being affected by results.

Bazball on party mood in Noosa

Ben Stokes, the England captain, and his teammates from the England side have been spotted sunbathing, holding beer cans in their hands at Noosa, days before the third Test begins at Adelaide.

After England lost the pink-ball Test, their head coach, Brendon McCullum, claimed that England lost probably due to overpreparation, as a result of which the players were not fresh enough alongside the Aussies.

“We have got a couple of days in Noosa, which will be good to spend a couple of days casually, and let the dust settle on what has been a pretty intense couple of weeks and start to plot and plan our way back into the series,” McCullum had said post-game at the Gabba.

Former England player David Lloyd slammed them, saying in his old-school thinking he would probably get back to the nets rather than going to Noosa. Also, Former English captain Nasser Hussain looks confused about England's schedule since they will be going into the Third Test without a single warm-up game.

“We have been here four weeks, and they have been pretty full on,” Ben Stokes defends England's vacation mode in Noosa

Despite losses, England captain Ben Stokes has defended their getaway and has claimed it as a much-needed one after the players have been subjected to extreme pressure in the island nation.

“We have been here four weeks, and they have been pretty full on,” he told reporters of the Noosa trip.

“As physical as this game is, a huge part of it is also the mental side of it. I know that. I have experienced that. I know what the game can do to you when things aren’t quite feeling right or going well," Stokes added.

He further claimed that it is very crucial for teams to be able to get away as a unit and put the pressure of the game aside for a few days to come back stronger later.

“It has been a no-consequence environment for too long,” Vaughan slams English management

England skipper Ben Stokes also made an audacious comment, saying that his team is not for weak men after they faced back-to-back humiliating losses. Former England captain Michael Vaughan said that Stokes should admit his role in worsening the weakness within the team.

“It has been a no-consequence environment for too long,” Vaughan wrote. “The team are told how good they are, and backed constantly, whether they play well or not. English cricket is reaping what it has sown.”

He also claimed that the England players should all be playing all the time, because nets are fine, but the true sense of responsibility comes when one acts on the field.

“Training and not playing is just another example of a no-consequence environment. You never know if you are out or not in the nets, and you face another ball anyway,” Vaughan added.
