Former Pakistan National Cricket Team leg-spinner Danish Kaneria, 42, has taken a brutal dig at the former captain Shahid Afridi, 42 after the latter was appointed as the interim chief of the Pakistan Men’s National Selection Committee.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has undergone major changes following Pakistan’s 0-3 Test series defeat against England on home soil. Najam Sethi has replaced Ramiz Raja as the PCB chairman and Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi has been appointed as the interim chief of the Pakistan Men’s National Selection Committee after the sacking of the Mohammad Wasim-led selection committee.

Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftikhar Anjum are also members of the selection committee and Haroon Rashid will be the Convener.
Meanwhile, Danish Kaneria doesn’t look pleased with the appointment of Shahid Afridi as the interim chief selector as he took to Twitter to troll Afridi by bringing up his infamous ball-tampering incident.

Shahid Afridi Was Banned For Ball-tampering In 2010
The ball-tampering scandal involving Shahid Afridi took place during a T20I match between Pakistan and Australia in 2010 in Perth, in which the Men In Green lost by 2 wickets.
Afridi was caught by television cameras biting the ball, he was found guilty of ball-tampering and was handed a two-match ban. He was charged with an article 2.2.9 offence of the ICC Code of Conduct which relates to “changing the condition of the ball in breach of Law 42.3 of the Laws of Cricket”.
“I shouldn’t have done it. It just happened. I was trying to help my bowlers and win a match, one match,” he had told Geo TV.
“There is no team in the world that doesn’t tamper with the ball. My methods were wrong. I am embarrassed, I shouldn’t have done it. I just wanted to win us a game but this was the wrong way to do it.”
