Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh revealed that his favourite batter to watch is Indian opener, Rohit Sharma. The Mumbaikar has been at his best in the last few years, especially in the white-ball format.

Rohit was India’s top scorer in the 2019 ODI World Cup where he scored five centuries. India couldn’t win the World Cup but he established himself as one of India’s best-ever openers. Speaking about him, Harbhajan said:

“Favourite batsman: Rohit Sharma. Whether T20, one-day cricket, Test cricket, when Rohit is batting, he is unbelievable. He has got so much of time, he makes batting look very, very easy.”

I think Rohit is probably the best batsman in world cricket, with all due respect to others like Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. They are equally good as well but when Rohit plays, he is on a different level altogether. So Rohit is my favourite batsman,” Harbhajan told Sports Today.

“Jasprit Bumrah is a class apart” – Harbhajan Singh

The 27-year-old pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, has slowly risen to become India’s best bowler across formats. The pacer recently became one of the fastest to reach 100 wickets in Tests. His credential in white-ball formats was already established and he has quickly made the longest format his own as well.

Coming to bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah I think is a class apart. Whether we talk about T20s, one-dayers, or Test cricket, Bumrah is a top-class bowler. These are my two favourite players,” Harbhajan added.

Rohit will return to the squad to lead for the white-ball series against West Indies while Bumrah has given his well-deserved rest.
