I'm A Bit Battered And Bruised And Very Sore – Shane Warne After Suffering An Injury In Motorbike Accident

Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne has suffered an injury after being involved in a terrible motorbike accident.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that legendary spinner Shane Warne was enjoying the bike ride with his son Jackson and during the ride, he fell off from the bike and slid for more than 15 metres.

“I’m a bit battered and bruised and very sore,” said Warne after the accident.

However, it has been reported that the former Australian spinner has not suffered any serious injury, but he was in pain. Also, he went to the hospital for a checkup to ensure that he hadn’t broken his foot or damaged his hip during the accident.

Shane Warne Expected To Do Broadcasting Duties During The Ashes 2021-22

It is also being reported that the former Australia spinner will recover in time and is expected to do the broadcasting duties for Fox Sports during the marquee Ashes 2021-22 series.

The marquee five-Test Ashes 2021-22 series is all set to begin from December 8 at the iconic Gabba, Brisbane, and the Ashes finale will be played at the Perth Stadium from January 14.

Meanwhile, England And Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA) had a talk over the fate of the series after the outbreak of a new variant of Covid-19. England managing director Ashley Giles, from his hotel room in Brisbane, said:

“It’s very early days but we are starting that conversation [with Australia]. There are going to be changes to border controls in terms of our families being allowed to travel and we clearly hope that’s not going to affect us. But we are in the hands of national and local governments.”
