Fans on X reacted after Indian captain Rohit Sharma bagged a duck in the second innings of the ongoing Test against South Africa. The match between the teams is taking place at the Supersport Park in Centurion. 

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been an utter disappointment in the ongoing Test. He bagged failures in both innings and it’s fair to say that his poor outings have put India on the backfoot in the ongoing game in Centurion. 

Rohit Sharma perished for just 5 runs in the first innings as he tried to play the pull shot. He was caught while attempting a big shot. It was expected that he would come off better in the second innings with the bat but it wasn’t an ideal outing for him. 

Rohit Sharma bagged an 8-ball duck as Kagiso Rabada sent him packing with the peach. The fast bowler bowled wonderfully set the batter and then castled his stumps to jolt India with the early blow in the third innings of the match. 

Kagiso Rabada bowled a full and angling delivery into the middle stump. The ball seamed away wickedly to beat the drive and then clattered into off-stump. It was an unplayable delivery as it would’ve got any batter out in the world. 

Rohit Sharma’s woes against Kagiso Rabada continued as he yet again perished to him. This was the 7th time the fast bowler removed the Indian captain in Test cricket. The batter averages just around 14 against the pacer in the longest format of the game. 

Rohit Sharma in the second innings looked tentative. It didn’t seem that he was settled. His dismissal was on the cards and the skipper would now be hoping to make a strong comeback with the bat in the second game in Johannesburg.
