The reason behind the cancellation of the ceremony is that the Cricket Association of Bengal is facing issues with getting clearance from the authorities in charge. India will take on South Africa on 5th November in Kolkata. The crowd is expected to electrifying that day because of Virat Kohli’s birthday.

Even if there won’t be a grand ceremony for his birthday, it is expected that the crowd will be making special gestures for him. The batter would be hoping to make his birthday special by playing a match-winning knock and taking his team past the finishing line.
