Most bowled dismissals in Tests:

Ravichandran Ashwin (95) now holds the record for having the most bowled dismissals in Tests by an India. He achieved the record after casting Chanderpaul. The record was previously held by former India skipper Anil Kumble, who had 94 bowled dismissals. Mohammed Shami is third on the list with 66 bowled dismissals.

Most five-wicket hauls among active cricketers:

Ravichandran Ashwin picked up his 33rd five-wicket haul in Tests on Wednesday (July 12). He now has the most five-wicket hauls in Tests among active cricketers. Overall, he is at the sixth spot in the list of most five-wicket hauls in the longest format of the game. Among active cricketers, James Anderson is second on the list with 32 five-wicket hauls.

700 international wickets:

Ravichandran Ashwin became just the third Indian bowler to reach the 700-wicket mark in international cricket. The other two Indians are the legendary duo, Anil Kumble and Harbhajan Singh. Ashwin now has 702 wickets and he can surpass Harbhajan by taking 10 more wickets. Harbhajan has picked up 711 wickets while Kumble has 956 wickets.

Second most five-wicket hauls in IND vs WI series:

Ravichandran Ashwin has moved to the second spot in the list of most five-wicket hauls in India-West Indies Tests. Legendary West Indies fast bowler Malcolm Marshall leads the list with six five-wicket hauls followed by Ashwin and Harbhajan who have five five-wicket hauls.
