The dynamic left-handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in the Test squad for the series against West Indies. Yashasvi Jaiswal had a brilliant domestic season as well as IPL 2023 which helped him earn a place.

During the Duleep Trophy final in 2022, Yashasvi Jaiswal was seen sledging South Zone batter Ravi Teja. The issue got so heated that skipper Ajinkya Rahane had to intervene and send his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal off the ground.

One of Ruturaj Gaikwad’s or Yashasvi Jaiswal is all set to make his debut against West Indies on 12th July. Yashasvi Jaiswal could be a good option at the No.3 position as the dashing batter has got a wide range of shots.

India will have to bring their “A” game as in the absence (*dropped) of Cheteshwar Pujara as the batting lineup looks a bit fragile. Once again, the onus will be on the duo of Virat Kohli & Ajinkya Rahane to bat responsibly.

What is the use of talking….- Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal was having an interaction with the Lallantop and he recalled being sent off the field by Rahane during the Duleep Trophy final. He said that he is aggressive mentally and he won’t listen if someone says anything about his sister and mother.

“Aggression is important and I am aggressive mentally. Sometimes that comes out I guess. But I hadn’t said anything big at the time but it’s ok, things happen. What is the use of talking about it then, I don’t want to say anything. I would rather keep it with me, and absorb it like a sponge. When I need to squeeze it, I will” said Yashasvi Jaiswal.

“Who says that it happens to everyone. No one really comes to know about it. It depends upon who is saying what. Bhai mereko koi mere maa behen ke baare me bolega, thodi sununga (If someone says things about my mother or my sister, I won’t tolerate it),”  he added.
