IND vs WI: Time For West Indies To Take Note - Hardik Pandya Slams CWI For Poor Arrangement

India’s stand-in captain Hardik Pandya expressed his disappointment over the arrangements made for Team India by Cricket West Indies (CWI) in the ongoing tour. The remarks from the star allrounder came after he guided India to a series-clinching win in the third ODI.
After the shock loss in the second ODI, the Hardik Pandya-led side bounced back in style to thrash West Indies by 200 runs and seal the series. India thoroughly dominated the contest right from ball one as both batsmen and bowlers finally came to the party.

Riding on the fifties from Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Sanju Samson, India scored 351 for 5 in the allotted 50 overs. In reply, the visitors were all out for a modest 151 inside 36 overs. Six of the top seven batters could not even reach the double-digit mark as West Indies lost five wickets for just 40 runs before being reduced to 88 for 8.
Alzarri Joseph and Gudakesh Motie then shared a 55-run stand to give some respectability to the total. For India, Shardul Thakur was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 37 runs while Mukesh Kumar picked up three wickets.

Hardik Pandya unhappy with arrangement:
As the game ended, Hardik Pandya made sure to remind Cricket West Indies of the poor arrangements they have made for Team India. The India star did not mince his words as he stated that the CWI could not even provide the basic necessities to the tourists. While he was all praise for the venues, Hardik Pandya hoped that CWI would take care of the arrangements in the future.
“This was one of the nicest grounds we have played. Things can be better when we come to West Indies next time. From travelling to managing a lot of things. Last year also, some hiccups happened.
“I think it’s time for West Indies Cricket to take note of it and make sure that when a team travels… We don’t ask for luxury but we need some basic necessities taken care of. Other than that, really enjoyed coming here and playing some good cricket,” Hardik Pandya said on Tuesday.
This is the second instance of an India captain venting frustration at the post-match presentation in recent times. Last month, India women’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur had slammed the umpires after the third ODI against Bangladesh and was later punished by the ICC.
