Team India revealed their jersey for Asian Games 2023 on Tuesday, September 19. Indian players will wear a darker blue colour as compared to the current jersey when they take to the field in Asian Games 2023.
Asian Games 2023 will commence soon. India has prepared a second-string squad for the tournament as it clashes with ICC World Cup 2023. Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to lead Indian team in the Asian tournament.

Indian team has preferred a darker blue colour this time. The name of sponsor JSW is written on the top-right corner while India is written on the top-left corner. At the centre, INDIA is scripted in bold white colour and is clearly visible.
Fans had mixed reactions about the jersey. While some said they liked the design, others did not like the colour. Some others were happy that the country’s name (INDIA) was clearly visible at the front.
Asian Games 2023 To Begin On September 23
Meanwhile, Asian Games 2023 begins on Saturday, September 23 in Hangzhou, China. The tournament will end on October 8, clashing with ICC World Cup 2023. Hence, a second-string India squad has been sent to by BCCI. Notably, the tournament does not fall under ICC (International Cricket Council).
Ruturaj Gaikwad will lead India in Asia Cup 2023. Indian team comprises a young team. Many players who performed brilliantly in IPL 2023 were picked in the squad. Below is India’s squad for the tournament.
