Delhi Capitals (DC), who finished as the runners-up in the IPL 2020 after playing their first IPL final, are now focusing to continue their improvement in the game during the IPL 2021 and finally finish their long wait to win an IPL trophy.
Delhi Capitals were earlier known as the Delhi Daredevils which appeared in the first 11 IPL editions. Since their name change to Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2019, they ended the struggling period by developing their game massively. While they reached both the last two IPL playoffs, they were really close to winning their first IPL trophy in the last season by appearing in the IPL final for the first time. However, Delhi Capitals ultimately lost the IPL 2020 final against Mumbai Indians (MI).
