Veteran India National Cricket Team off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that some Indian Premier League (IPL) team would break the bank for the 23-year-old Australia National Cricket Team all-rounder Cameron Green at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction.
The young Australia National Cricket Team all-rounder has been in terrific form lately. In the recently concluded Chappell-Hadlee Trophy between Australia and New Zealand, Cameron Green made amazing contributions both with the bat and the ball to help his side comprehensively win the series against the Black Caps. He was the third-highest run scorer for Australia in the series and with the ball, he bagged two wickets.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, as quoted by the Hindustan Times, Ashwin said that Green has got the ability to play a wide range of shots and he is a tall pacer.
“Just when everyone thought how he would do in the one-day format, he is showing his big-hitting prowess. He is striking them big. He has his sweep shot against the spinners. He has the long hits as well. He is a tall fast bowler too,” explained Ashwin on his YouTube channel.
Some teams in IPL might think of using him in the powerplay – Ravichandran Ashwin
Veteran India National Cricket Team off-spinner further said that some of the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams might think of using the Australian all-rounder in the powerplay overs.
“Some teams (in IPL) might think of using him in the powerplay and might go after him in this year’s auctions unless and until he pulls out. I am sure some team will break the bank for him in this year’s auctions,” added the veteran India National Cricket Team bowler.
