IPL 2024 Auction: Complete List Of Players In 1.5 Crore Base Price Bracket

The IPL 2024 auction will take place on Tuesday, December 19 in Dubai. All the 10 IPL franchises will bid for their favorite players during the auction. The IPL 2024 auction will witness a total of 333 players going under the hammer. Out of 333 players in IPL 2024 auction, there are 214 domestic players and 119 overseas players. All these players will fill the 77 vacant places across the 10 IPL teams. Out of 77 available slots, there are 30 reserved for overseas players.

After parting ways with Hardik Pandya, Gujarat Titans have the highest salary cap available at Rs. 38.15 crores in the IPL 2024 auction. They are followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad with Rs. 34 crores. Kolkata Knight Riders are next on the list with Rs. 32 crores in their kitty.

With Rs. 13.15 crores, Lucknow Super Giants have the least funds available with them. Mumbai Indians have Rs. 17.75 crores left after acquiring Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans through a trade.

Out of 77 available slots, Kolkata Knight Riders have the most vacant spots of 12 players. Next is Delhi Capitals, who can induct 9 more players into their squad. Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals can grab 8 more players.

The rest other teams like Chennai Super Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Sunrisers Hyderabad can get 6 more players. In the top salary brackets, there are 23 players in Rs. 2 crore salary cap, 13 players in Rs. 1.5 crore salary cap, and 14 players in Rs. 1 crore salary cap.

If we talk about Rs. 1.5 crore salary cap, there are 4 players from England and 3 players from New Zealand. 2 players each from Australia and West Indies have played themselves in Rs. 1.5 crore salary bracket in IPL 2024 auction.
