The inclusion of Prithvi Shaw paid dividends for Delhi Capitals. He scored 43 off 27 balls and added a 93-run stand with David Warner (52). The fifties from Warner and Rishabh Pant (51) in the end helped DC post a match-winning total and get the first points on the board after two losses.

KKR, in their last game, showcased a clinical performance against RCB. They continued their winning run at the Chinnaswamy intact as they chased down 183 to win inside 17 overs. The win boosted their NRR and heading into this game, they are the number one team on the points table. Delhi and Kolkata have faced each other in 32 matches in IPL.

Out of these 32 games, Delhi have won 15 whereas Kolkata have come out victorious on 16 occasions. Former DC skipper is now leading the Knight Riders in Shreyas Iyer who will take on his former teammate Rishabh Pant.
