IPL Points Table 2024: Orange Cap, Purple Cap List After GT vs SRH Match 12 & DC vs CSK Match 13

GT vs SRH and DC vs CSK were on the cards in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday (31st March). The first game between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad took place in Ahmedabad whereas the second match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings took place in Visakhapatnam.
In the GT vs SRH game, Gujarat Titans won the game with 7 wickets in hand. They batted and bowled superbly well and won the game to register their second win of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Asked to bowl, on account of a sensational three-wicket haul by restricted the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a total of 162 runs. Abdul Samad was the star with the bat as he scored 29 runs whereas Abhishek Sharma also scored the same runs for his team.
Gujarat Titans were brilliant in the chase as Shubman Gill (36) and Wriddhiman Saha (25) started off pretty well. After that Sai Sudharsan (45) and David Miller (44) joined hands together and helped the team win the game by 7 wickets at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
In the DC vs CSK game, Delhi Capitals bagged a comfortable 20-run win and won their first game of the season. Asked to bat, they posted a big total of 191 runs on the board. David Warner (52) and Prithvi Shaw (43) started pretty well and added 91 runs partnership.
Rishabh Pant (51) then finished the innings on high as Delhi Capitals posted a total of 191 runs on the board. The Rishabh Pant-led side then were tremendous with the ball as they executed their plans well and defended the target with ease.
Ajinkya Rahane (45), MS Dhoni (37*), and Daryl Mitchell (34) tried their best but the target was too much as Delhi won the game by 20 runs. This was the Chennai Super Kings’ first loss of the tournament.

After the GT vs SRH Match 12 & DC vs CSK Match 13, Kolkata Knight Riders bagged the top spot in the table while Chennai Super Kings were displaced to second spot. Rajasthan Royals retained third spot whereas Gujarat Titans bagged 4th spot. Sunrisers Hyderabad are at 5th followed by LSG, DC, and PBKS. RCB and MI are the last two teams on the table.
