"Jasprit Bumrah Has The Credentials To Be Looked At As Future India Captain" - Parthiv Patel

Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patel feels that in the limited interactions he has had with Indian pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, his cricketing intelligence was very evident.
With the likes of Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul being tested for captaincy in the white-ball formats, Bumrah is also another option that the management can test out, as per Parthiv.
“Jasprit Bumrah made his debut for Gujarat under my captaincy. So I had the opportunity to interact with him a number of times about how he wanted to set up a batter to take his wicket.”

“That spoke volumes about how intelligent he is in taking cricketing decisions. Although India lost the Test under his captaincy, he definitely has the intelligence and credentials to be looked at as the future India captain,” Parthiv told on his YouTube channel.
Parthiv Patel on the 3 captaincy contenders
The trio of Pant, Rahul, and Hardik have been given opportunities to lead the side recently in white-ball matches and Hardik has arguably come out as the best of the lot.

“Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul have both been a ‘work in progress’ as captains. With every passing game, their captaincy is improving and they, along with Hardik, are the three contenders I feel who will replace Rohit Sharma as India’s next captain,” he also said.
Bumrah led India in the one-off Test against England which the visitors ended up losing by 7 wickets.
