The wait for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Rinku Singh to get Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli's bat has finally got over. The left-hander seemed to have achieved what he wanted after he was seen requesting the senior batter for a while in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

Ahead of the second leg of the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers in the IPL 2024, a video went viral on the internet. In the clip, Rinku Singh can be seen asking Virat Kohli for his bat because the left-hander broke the bat that Kohli gave him ahead of the first match between the teams.

As Rinku Singh informed Virat Kohli about the bat ge broke, the RCB batter looked frustrated and denied his request. He stated: "You took a bat one match back, now you want me to give you two bats in two matches? I have to face the consequences at the end."

Rinku Singh, however, didn't get away as he kept pleading with Virat Kohli to lend him another bat. If this was not enough, the KKR batter also swore on him, saying that he would take better care of it.

He stated: "I swear on you I won't break your bat ever again. I've kept the broken one, I can show it to you."

However, Virat Kohli persisted with his comment and didn't give the batter a bat. After the game between the teams was over, Rinku Singh kept following the RCB batter and even stood by his side when the senior batter was discussing with the umpire.

Many wondered if Rinku Singh got a bat from Virat Kohli or not. A new video has gone viral on the internet. In the clip, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter was seen walking with Virat's bat. He was asked by a cameraman about the same and he confirmed that he got the bat from the RCB batter.

We will again focus on Virat Kohli - Navjot Sidhu's massive statement ahead of SRH vs RCB game

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will be taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (25th April). With the game between the two teams around the corner, the former India cricketer said that he doesn't want to focus on Virat Kohli because there are other players involved too.

He talked about how skipper Pat Cummins changed the dynamics of the SRH and urged RCB to follow the same pattern. Speaking to Star Sports, he stated:

"We will again focus on Virat Kohli. We should stop doing it, as another team is also involved in the game. We should talk about Pat Cummins and how he has changed the team. Mayank Agarwal and Rajat were the openers, but Cummins brought in Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. The results have been sensational.

“He is keeping himself for the middle overs and giving death overs to T Natarajan. The team was down and out when Cummins arrived. He took some time and the same franchise has become a top unit. RCB should follow Pat Cummins and his style of captaincy. They should take lessons out of his book."

RCB have lost 7 games out of their 8 fixtures in the IPL 2024. They are reeling at the bottom of the table and would be eager to win against SRH.
