Kuldeep Yadav labels Jasprit Bumrah as a rare talent in world cricket

He also said that Bumrah is a rare bowler. Yadav mentioned that Bumrah deserves every praise for his wonderful efforts with the ball, citing his match-winning performances in the recent T20 World Cup 2024, where he was instrumental in key moments like in the group match against Pakistan and in the final against South Africa.

Kuldeep Yadav was quoted as saying by Revsportz: “Hundred percent, Jasprit Bumrah is the best bowler now across the formats. We both started our international careers almost at the same time. He has always stood up for the team. We are lucky to have him as a teammate. He deserves every praise.

He won so many matches in crunch situations. During this T20 World Cup, he brought us back into the game against Pakistan. In the final, he bowled a tight over where he gave away only four runs, and in the next over, Heinrich Klassen got out. A bowler like him is very rare. His value in the team is priceless.”

Notably, whenever the Men in Blue found themselves in trouble, Bumrah took the responsibility, delivered again and again, and played a key role in the team’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory.

Bumrah finished the T20 World Cup 2024 with 15 wickets in eight matches at an astonishing average of 8.26 and an incredible economy rate of 4.17 and won the Player of the Tournament award.

Kuldeep was also impressive with the ball in the mega-ICC event. However, Kuldeep got the opportunity in the West Indies, where he played five matches and scalped 10 wickets to play a crucial role in the team’s World Cup triumph after 13 years.
